The movie jewsies are trying to appeal to the newest last 2 generational NPC'S (blame parents) that have no logical or critical thinking skills. Sadly for them, this drivel will hopefully and completely backfire.

Hah, okay. Let's all-of-a-sudden forget about the hundreds if not thousands of successful movies/tv-shows that steam-rolled box offices/ratings, all of which contained men-in-drag, as one of their protagonists. But yeah, it's the moviegoers' fault the thing tanked.

Agreed, and the trailer pretty much covers all high points of the film, including the "heroic" ending. So why waste time and money watching it.

I'm trying to remember how many seasons of the office were tolerable with him in it. His persona was novel at some point, but then...

Steve Carell pissed off this movies audience when he depicted toy collectors as literal virgins in '40 Year Old Virgin'.

Lol that came out years ago and definitely did not piss off anyone but actual virgins. He just happens to be a virgin and a toy collector in the movie, no explicitly saying you are a virgin if you are a toy collector. It also didn’t hurt his career. What did hurt his career is garbage drama movies like this. He should stick to comedy, but even then I think he’s passed his prime for that. Most movies suck these days anyways.

Eh, he should have retired to become a Disney voice actor a long time ago; that seems to be what old comedians with distinctive voices do, nowadays. Patton Oswalt is making fucking bank as a voice actor— regardless of whether-or-not he killed those women.

The documentary that inspired it, MARWENCOL is currently on Netflix. I saw it when it first appeared on Netflix, I liked it.
