Most of those people wouldn't have been registered donors. None of those organs are going to be used. There is a certain window in which an organ is viable. If they have to process your body, cross type it to needed organs , find a match and get it shipped, it's no good. You've lost your window. Except for things like skin and bone and dura matter, which can be stored longer term.
