When I converse with someone that appears to be programmed to LOVE the president by the right wing media, I directly ask "Have you listened to any of his speeches? Have you seen any of his press conferences? Have you read any of his tweets? Or are you getting your instruction second hand? More so than not, the people who are programmed to support the president are actually really good people who care deeply about the country and if they just heard the POTUS speak directly and looked at what he's doing, they would probably disagree with him.

That analogy swings both ways.

Cognitive skills include the ability to learn, to process and apply knowledge, to analyze and reason, and to evaluate and decide what is the intellectually disciplined process of understanding the world and conditions around oneself. Information generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to our own beliefs and actions.

There are many, many right leaning people who voted and supported the president I have spoken with that are totally appalled by the words the president tweets and what he has said during his speeches at rallies and what he says in interviews.

The morality of humankind [choosing right from wrong], is based on the concept of our own personal truth. Truth to one is not necessarily truth to another. Truth is contingent upon our individual critical thinking skills.

I praise Jesus and the Father. No man.

John 12:43 - For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Colossians 3:23 - And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

1 Thessalonians 2:4 - But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Yeah. We don't need the news, we can just make shit up that fits our dumb world view and makes us feel superior to others (family, friends, & coworkers). Merry Xmas to the dumbest people on the internet! You kept me laughing all year long! Keep it up in 2019!

  • Employment of Children in Entertainment Media Productions
  • Employment of Children in Advertising
  • Marketing & Advertising which Targets Children
  • Marketing & Advertising which Sexualizes Children
  • Marketing & Advertising Influenced by Social Engineering Campaigns
  • News & Entertainment Media Use of Propaganda
  • News & Entertainment Media Collusion with Government
  • Presenting Corporate & Government Media Packages as Unbiased News
  • Lack of News Media Accountability for Inaccuracy & Use of Propaganda
  • News Media Corporation Conflicts of Interest
  • News Media Fear Mongering
  • Lack of Access to Wide Distribution of the Public’s Views
  • Lack of Means for Public Rebuttals to News
  • News Media Political Bias
  • Unequal Broadcast Time Afforded to Political Candidates

I agree with what you've said and most of the others here. I just want to say though, that if it were not for the alternative sites that you folks have pointed me to, I would not begin to understand what is really going on and what Q was talking about like I do now. So what I'm saying is I really appreciate all the "news site" soldiers out there on the internet that don't make much (or even at all) of a living researching and sharing what they believe they've found. While the internet is used for much evil, I am SO thankful that we have it.

A certain clip from our favorite retired general comes to mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2MgTd3LgB0

Very much so. On the other hand, one really good 'news' source I like is Epoch Times / Declassified. They give the information, and do not spin it.

That's what we need more of. Information, unfiltered. Let the listener make up their own mind.
