When I converse with someone that appears to be programmed to LOVE the president by the right wing media, I directly ask "Have you listened to any of his speeches? Have you seen any of his press conferences? Have you read any of his tweets? Or are you getting your instruction second hand? More so than not, the people who are programmed to support the president are actually really good people who care deeply about the country and if they just heard the POTUS speak directly and looked at what he's doing, they would probably disagree with him.

That analogy swings both ways.

Cognitive skills include the ability to learn, to process and apply knowledge, to analyze and reason, and to evaluate and decide what is the intellectually disciplined process of understanding the world and conditions around oneself. Information generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to our own beliefs and actions.

There are many, many right leaning people who voted and supported the president I have spoken with that are totally appalled by the words the president tweets and what he has said during his speeches at rallies and what he says in interviews.

The morality of humankind [choosing right from wrong], is based on the concept of our own personal truth. Truth to one is not necessarily truth to another. Truth is contingent upon our individual critical thinking skills.

I praise Jesus and the Father. No man.

John 12:43 - For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Colossians 3:23 - And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

1 Thessalonians 2:4 - But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.

Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

MSM and Hollyweird the tentactles of the beast - they disgust me. I can't even enjoy a movie anymore because of the propoganda BS and agenda they are force feeding. Actors are the lowest scum on Earth... worse then even criminal. Pure hardcore traitors - selling their country for criminal overlords.

The news just makes people feel bad. I'm awake and still can get a bit upset when I listen to the small tidbits of MSM I catch. I avoid 99% of it but will catch an article or CNN clip when its linked to what Im reading. I know its false but it will get me irritated. Imagine if thats what you listen to all the time. Its so hypocritical that people are starting to see tgrough it unless their memory span is only a couple weeks long.

With "journalists" like these, the news is poisonous.

Stephen Ambrose, Mike Barnicle, Mitch Albomn, Jayson Blair, Rick Bragg, Janet Cooke, Walter Duranty, Sabrina Erdely, Michael Finkel, Michael Gallagher, Michael Gartner, Stephen Glass, Caleb Hannan, Neil Harman, Johann Hari, Jack Kelley,Tom Kummer, Jonah Lehrer, Lara Logan, Lilia Luciano, Mary Mapes, Judith Miller, Chris Mortensen, Christopher Newton, Gerald Posner, Dan Rather, Ruth Shalit, Patricia Smith, Juan Thompson, Gary Webb, Margaret Wente, Brian Williams, Fareed Zakaria ... and more.

Unfortunaty real journalists like Pedro da Costa is no longer invited to the party. Long live Pedro da Costa. Also Max Kolonko from TVN was asked to leave, apparently he exposed too many truths.

Actually, I agree with you. It is programming.

Could not agree more. If they were smart, which they are not, they would throw in some good news, the truth about things. This way they can keep on fooling the people!

It has worked for Fox quite well. They give the appearance of being "fair and balanced" so many people turn to them as a less objectionable option, but then they still get the same ideas across. CNN just gives many people and allergic reaction.

Turn off the TV. At airports turn off CNN! They put CNN at airports, bus stations, train stations, and gyms to program you. Have you often wonder why CNN is at so many places but has the lowest ratings? It's time to take their shit and shove it back to them. Turn off CNN at all public places. It's not good enough to just turn it off at home.

True. If you discounted all the empty waiting rooms where CNN was playing 24/7, they would only have a few thousand real viewers, but expect resistance when you turn the volume down. I got tangled up with some nurses in a doctor's waiting room because The View was on, and it was making me sick. There were only me and two other ladies who had moved to the far opposite end of the room so I started looking for a way to turn the volume down. Suddenly, the sliding glass window whizzed open and the nurse said, "Can I help you?" When I told her what I wanted, she produced the remote control and turned the volume down one notch, but said they had to leave it up some because they discussed patients' private medical information behind the counter so there had to be something playing to cover the sound so we could not hear their discussion. They were literally using The View as white noise, but I could not get them to change the channel or turn the volume down more.

When you listen to the source and then you hear MSM reporting the exact opposite - what an eye opening. Someone should meme side by sides of original vs fake (looking at you david muir, abc).
