Stick with the King James Bible. Why? Because it's the sacred, perfect word of God? No, because it was translated by fifty scholars who knew what they were doing, and it hasn't changed in 400 years. It hasn't been twisted by liberals and Jews with a social agenda.

My understanding is that the Schofield reference has been used in translating most subsequent translations in use, spreading the jews as chosen narrative far and wide. Is your Jerusalem Bible translated before or after Schofield? I think 1841 or 44 or about?
