Yeah definitely need to find something without restrictions. My RV is a truck camper so it may not be subject to the same restrictions but I'd rather not find out after the fact.

Here is a short list of criteria that I'm using when I look for undeveloped land for my future pie-in-the-sky getaway:
On a county road. This means that it will be plowed in the winter. If there is snow in the area you don't want to be responsible for plowing it very far. It also means that you should be able to receive postal mail there if you want.
Few restrictions on land use.
Surface water or ability to have a well that isn't too deep.
Trees. Lots of trees. Privacy and shade. Mm :)

Hey there, if you are still interested in purchasing rural land, our website www.landstay.com has hundreds of properties for sale that would meet your criteria. The great thing about buying land is that you can always turn around and sell it one day without having to maintain or renovate anything. It really is a great investment. If you have any questions regarding buying undeveloped land I would be happy to answer them for you! Since 1999, I have been in the business of buying and selling undeveloped land. My email is Jill@landstay.com if you would like to contact me with further questions!
