According to the redacted original FBI 302 of the Flynn interview, finalized on February 15 (two days after Flynn resigned), Flynn claimed that he never asked the Russians not to escalate following new U.S. sanctions and that he never asked them to vote a certain way at the U.N. He said his comments were more along the lines of asking how they were going to vote, not telling them to vote a certain way. That turned out to not be true. According to Sara Noble's article, partially quoted above, General Flynn did lie to the FBI interrogators. That came as a surprise to me, as the initial 302 had not been released until this court case.

Yes, but if he lied KNOWING they had the transcript, he did it for a reason.

To answer number 3, i think it was to find out if muller and the fbi had originally sought to charge Flynn with treason, or if they had considered it at any time. Number 4 is possibly he got feedback that the fake news took his comments out of context and ran with it (surprise surprise)..., And he sought to clarify his comments.

Actors acting.

Isn't it always "actors acting"? MSM, politicians and pundits, party spokesmen, tweets. Everything said, or not said, for effect in order to manipulate the general public into feeling, and therefore believing, a certain way in order to get support for an agenda or opposition to those who are working against that agenda. "Truth" has become a very liquid and changeable concept. Truth is actually irrelevant. All that matters is people's perception, in the hope that that perception will create support for the agenda (which inevitably comes down to money and the power that money can buy). This is why President Trump is so refreshing. I truly believe that his agenda is to help the little people, rather than to satisfy an insatiable (in the fullest sense of the word) lust for power with which those like Soros, the Clintons and the elite are obsessed.
