I learned First Aid in HS and during Life guard training. Did they go to some catholic school or private school? I learned that shit in public school health class. I even got CPR and First Aid certified (don't ever do that).
I had to even learn it for the first career job I held.
There's no hope for some people.

Private schools teach it.
Makes me wonder what schools they go to.
I ranted about this at redpill awhile back, that you can learn anything now thanks to the internet. You just have to actively try to learn. Yet it is the "woke" people who are the ones that can't learn life skills unless it is at school.
Must have been a dui incident, it is that time of year and those tend to be the worst accidents. Either that or this guy is making shit up for attention. This is a surprising amount of empathy from one of those psychopaths. it is out of character for them and makes me question the event.

I had forgetten about the high school training I received. I had only remembered all the training I got in the military.
So yeah, I don’t know where they went to school, as I said below they were probably in SPED classes.

I learned it in high school. Sorta. The teacher didn’t give a flying fuck if we did it right or not on the dummies so I’d be useless in saving someone’s life.
It is in my to do list now that I’m an adult though. Sucks that finding time is such a bitch these days.

I know first aid and could give a shit about sign language. They need to carry a pen and paper so people can communicate with them.
Do you feel guilty for not knowing how to speak to your new caliphate overlords? There’s more of them then deaf people.

Sounds like OP is one of the few REEEtards to step out of his mom's basement.
To get in his moms minivan while she drove him to GameStop to spend his good buy bucks.
Bee Gees Staying Alive actually works?
He watched an episode of the office and now knows CPR.
Shall we make this a First Aid OT? I feel like they should teach this stuff in school or something.
Take a Red Cross first aid course, the last people I’d take advice from is resetfags.

There's not much you can or even should do for car accident victims unless you're a paramedic/nurse/doctor. Response times are generally very fast and if you don't know what you're doing, you can make things worse for victims.
And CPR is effective like 10% of the time and usually involves breaking the fuck out of the person's ribs. Many physicians actually have DNRs because they know how fucked up people are if they survive chest compressions which are actually effective enough to restart the heart.

Are they actually trying to restart the heart with CPR of just pumping blood and oxygen throughout the body/brain until they can get defib’d or paramedics show up?
[–] blahblahgafsucks ago (edited ago)
Yeah it's the latter. CPR can restart the heart but it's rare. It's more that you're just forcefully pumping oxygenated blood through the body and to the brain by smashing the fuck out of the person's chest cavity. Given its low success rate, most of the time that just means you're pummeling on a corpse for a while.

I learned first aid through CPR in the Boy Scouts. That said, ReE's sad sacks still live with Mommy because they can't fucking hack it at life without someone there to wipe their asses. Asking them to help others may be something of a bridge too far
