She passed by the Golden Gate Theatre where A Bronx Tale was playing and came to site of the former all-night diner, Gene’s Compton Cafeteria (now transitional housing), where in August 1966 a trans woman threw a cup of coffee at a police officer trying to arrest her, which turned into a riot with trans people fighting back against police harassment, flipping over tables and throwing cutlery.

Oh, I see. A riot occurs on behalf of a mentally ill man who threw coffee at a cop (with zero provided context), but they're the ones being harassed. Got it.

The documentary cited title gives it away Screaming Queens: The Riot at Compton’s Cafeteria. This person in 1966 wasn't a 'trans woman', trying to pass as a female, but a homosexual 'queen'.

San Franscisco has problems with poop and needles but has time and money to save a Trans Riot diner?! Sounds about right.

https://archive.fo/7gzH0 :

San Francisco Creates World’s First Ever Transgender Cultural District

"The area Mahogany was walking through makes up part of the first legally recognized transgender district in the world, Compton's Transgender Cultural District."

'In November, San Francisco passed a proposition for a percentage of an existing hotel tax to go to arts, with $3 million specifically for cultural districts. ', "Mahogany, a performer and contestant on Season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, is Compton's district manager."

'Honey Mahogany walked down 6th Street in San Francisco, pointing to single room occupancy hotels, the dance and performance space Counterpulse, and gay bars, OMG and Aunt Charlie’s Lounge. '

'Unlike Mahogany, Sa’id didn’t grow up in San Francisco. '

What the fuck does this even mean? If somebody is transgender, according to their own agitprop, doesn’t that mean that you just want to live a normal life as the opposite sex? Why is there now some kind of distinct culture that comes along with it?

No, no. This is SF trying to get a way to inclusively allow a group of people to wave their genitals in your face for a parade or something.

I've lived in the Bay Area most of my life...that place is straight up batshit crazytown. I don't go there if I can avoid it.

I'm assuming that it is not enough for these people to simply mind their own business. They have to advocate and inject this particular form of degeneracy across all levels of society in order to normalize it or they will be seen as betraying their community. Same thing that you see with the gays that voted republican. I'm sure it won't be long before trannies start creating pariahs of their own.

Well, it only took about a year and a half:

Seems politicians can get stuff done when they want to.
