Putting professionals ruins the idea of competing to be the best. You guys already had your opportunity and are getting paid to do this now, leave it to the guys who are still training just because they want to.

Isn’t the idea that professionals would have an unfair advantage over amateurs? I’m saying the WWE guys would not have an advantage.

Canada pays a professional $6million/player price for a bunch of guys who never regularly play together to improvise some "entertainment".

They probably do have an advantage of raw skill level. But a team of real amateurs who played together all year would have a different kind of advantage.

My issue is more philosophical. I think the pros should be scouting at the Olympics, not competing at the Olympics.

You should rise up through the youth leagues, prove yourself in the Olympics, and then you can spend the rest of your career getting juiced-up and getting paid-large.

If we're going to turn hockey into a spectacle before a competition, then let's turn wrestling into a spectacle, too. It's only fair.
