What in the ever loving fuck is wrong with these fat pieces of shit? Do they ever stop bleating for attention?
[–] GasImmigrantPolacks 0 points 7 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago
I hope their next trend will be a forehead piercing, and get lobotomized in the process.

I've had a few cartilage piercings done and can't imagine how painful that one would be. It looks absolutely ridiculous.
[–] mmmmdonuts 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
I had my nose pierced (the normal one) a long time ago and it was PAINFUL. And I've experienced quite a few piercings and a few tattoos in my life. That was the worst. And I've had massive needles my entire life due medical issues. I really just wanna punch this one in the nose lol. The piercing looks ugly too.

I have never understood why people want/get piercings where the exposed stud or whatever looks like a pimple. Like piercings with the stud right under the lip, in the center? Those always look like zits. This fatty's piercing looks like a zit.
Why?
[–] 1ProudStick [S] 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
That's a labret, and I totally agree. There has to be something to be pierced in/around, like a nostril hoop or conch stud, rather than just plopped in the middle of some skin (especially a giant moon face like that) to be anywhere near nice looking. I think those are more for the perceived "cool/edgy" factor, because they're less pretty/popular than, say, nostril or septum. My two cents.

That's because their faces are so fat, there really isn't any reference point for the piercer. Generally, if a human is getting pierced, there are generally guidelines for how to place the jewelry to make for something that draws attention to the right places, or at least is inoffensive. I was discussing this when I got my monroe piercing (which is essentially an upper lip piercing off to one side). Done right, they sit just off of the dimple/crease between your lip and cheek when you smile, and the placement mimics a beauty mark on a woman, and they can actually look okay. A friend of mine who pierces told me straight up that fats can have so much fat on their faces, you can't get a good read on where the natural creases/indents are and it's actually really hard to pierce them in a way that doesn't leave them looking like they don't just have zits or something. On a human, a little sparkle on your face can be okay, but on fats? Never.
(There is additional reason to not like those ones right under the lip - because the back sits right in the gumline, they often cause gum or tooth damage. That's why I never went that way. My own lip piercing is far enough out of the way where gum damage is highly unlikely)

Can confirm, I had a labret for years and it was hideous on me lol
Ahhhhh the teen years...

He doesn't like it when I shove my phone in his face and go, "look at this disgusting landwhale!" lol

I like piercings, Hel, I used to have a septum piercing and still have a couple in my ears, and I've hung around with people who have some pretty crazy ones, but dammit if I haven't seen that one before. That would look terrible on anyone, fat or skinny.
[–] 1ProudStick [S] 1 point 3 points 4 points (+4|-1) ago
I love my septum! I was actually browsing through nice, aesthetically pleasing curated ears, and then this came up. I think most piercings can look good with the right jewelry, but this is just awful.
[–] DorothyMantooth 1 point 1 point 2 points (+2|-1) ago
I had my nose pierced for a while, but septum was always my favorite--with the right jewelry they can be so pretty. I just never got around to it, sigh.
I had a friend who had so many piercings (and a big green mohawk) that he used to make money hanging out on the beach charging tourists to take pictures with him. He never would have gotten a piercing this dumb-looking.
[–] OdinsMessenger 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
I liked the septum at first, but my feelings toward it mellowed after about a year, that's always a sign for me to move on. That and I could never get mine to stop smelling, it always smelled like a fart or like I hadn't bathed regardless of how much or how little I cleaned it.
I also knew a guy like that, minus the charging tourists for pictures thing (he did it for free) and his mohawk was red XD

More proof fats are stupid.
Rhino piercings are rare for a reason. Because most people are not stupid enough to put a very conspicuous piercing dead center in your face. Does she hope to ever, you know, hold down a decent paying job? Because (and I say this as a pierced, tattooed person) that's a quick way to doom most job prospects. Even more lax jobs (like mine) would probably not go for that - because, like I said, there is no way to minimize it. It's right there and you can't avoid it. I mean, I can hide all my stuff if need be. You can't with that. She did not think that through at all. But then again, I'm guessing attention was the point.
[–] DorothyMantooth 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
I had to let my nose piercing grow shut finally because taking it out for work was too much of a pain and it kept getting infected from it. And I was a cocktail waitress at the time! I can't imagine getting any kind of job anywhere with this monstrosity. And the piercing looks bad, too! Ba-dum-bum-crash
[–] jagz 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
I am lucky in that I work in a field that is generally a lot more lax on body modification (I work in social services - they are generally happy just to have people willing to stay in the public sector, versus private practice). I can get away with a lot, but I know this would cross the line, mostly because of just how distracting it is. It cannot be hidden at all - and I doubt a retainer would work. I am generally a modification friendly person and I find it distracting! It looks so...off. It's not aesthetically pleasing. So why?
For attention, that's why.

God, just when I think they can't get any more stupid I see this
