This. And if they do the surgery in their own facility, find out where they have admitting privileges in case the procedure goes sideways.

Check out a website called Realself.com. There are reviews for local surgeons and LOTS of pictures and stories. You may or may not need to set up an account, but they've never asked for personal info or spammed me, at least at the time. Good luck, I understand.

If she is doing muscle repair, healing can take a very long time. Most surgeons say to wait a year after tummy tuck w/MR to see the final results. She will have to wear a binder, of what fat bitches call a slimmer, to help her heal. It is a very tough surgery to recover from, and nest to a brachioplasty, one of the most painful electives out there. As long as she has a good surgeon, it will be worth it in the end

The before and after photos they're showing you are just an example of what the doctor is capable of, most show off their most extreme photos for this purpose. Ofcourse they're not going to show off the light pooch removal but that doesn't mean that they don't go them.
I'm sure that the surgeon has done this for people your wife's size, as most people that get cosmetic surgery aren't fat. But you don't trust the surgeon you're consulting with I would consider going to another one, that's a pretty bad sign considering a tummy tuck can still have bad complications + an experienced doctor can give you better advice than people here who have maybe had one.

I'm curious as well. I have two children, both born by emergency c-section four years apart (July 2013 & 2017). Within a year my abdomen skin eventually went back to normal after my son. It hasn't since having my daughter. I can still see my abs luckily, but the pooch that slightly hangs over my scar drives me insane.
I'm sure it doesn't help that the OB that did my most recent emergency c-section did a terrible job patching me back up. Whereas the one with my son healed beautifully and was 95% undetectable.
It makes me so happy to be with my shitlord husband. I would be too self conscious if I had to date again.

In 95% of skin tight stuff my wife still looks great, some stuff shows the pooch part. We are also into the alt-lifestyle scene so this bugs her there more when naked.

Well, it's basically a large flesh wound if it's just cosmetic skin surgery and their not pulling the rectus ab muscles together so in terms of healing advice:
Eat maintainance calories, consider a slight surplus coming from protein and gelatine (there's studies that show gelatin plus vitamin C improves collagen synthesis which is what the body lays down as it starts knitting things back together).
Stay hydrated, pretty obvious why.
I'd take the docs advice on how soon you can start bouncing around post op, general day to day walking around and relatively static exercise to promote blood flow always helps. I'd definitely check how soon you can start light stretching and foam rolling as this can help minimise scar tissue formation (if muscle is being cut, skin wise not a whole lot you can do bar vitamin topical lotion and or bio oil once the skin has made a proper barrier)
Anything else I can think of is more to do with injuries to muscles/bone and that's more involving inflammation modulation.

why are you posting this on a forum dedicated to hating on fat people?
[–] TradRight14 2 points 16 points 18 points (+18|-2) ago
Because he is looking for advice from people who are (hopefully) not fats or former fats.

Why don’t you give them some advice and not be a cunt?

My sister had the same issue. I'm going to video call her tomorrow, so I'll pick her brains and get back to you. I hope that helps?
