Active combat operations don't come cheap.

I'm not so sure the powers that be wanted to disclose how much all of those wars were actually costing - Bush and Obama were basically continuously at war.

I really don't think that's it. From 1984 - 2014 we've had ~1.7M soldiers in active duty each year. This would be a cost of $196B for each soldier unaccounted for. If each soldier would fire one $400 bullet per minute it would take them 932 years to waist that much cash.

I'm sure it's not all of it, but I've seen video's of how you guys fight, and nobody consumes ammo faster in this world than the American soldier. Two guys in a house? Drop a five hundred pound bomb on them:)

Hell, you even have vehicles to carry the vehicles that carry all of that extra ammunition for you.

It's the American way!

That is kinda how I feel about the free stuff and gibs argument. Obviously some people are getting ten trillion dollars worth of free stuff. How can I vote for some of that?
