The only reason to ban /r/fatpeoplehate and not /r/watchpeopledie was because the former demeans the target demographic of sugary soda, fast food, and pharmaceutical companies which use the mainstream mass media whose money the reddit board are eying.
Someone seriously argued that, while SRS does the same thing as FPH (takes stuff people post on the internet, reposts it and then makes fun of the original posters), it was ok to ban FPH because FPH made it onto r/all often.
Basically it's ok to ban subs for breaking the rules but only if they're popular.
I pointed out this was interesting, because it aligned with extreme liberal theology that those in power deserve discrimination (for example, you can be sexist against women, but not sexist against men). I said I didn't agree with the poster, but at least it was ideologically consistent!
Downvotes; no comments explaining why or contradicting me. Just downvotes. I would have loved a discussion, but mass downvotes just make me sad.

I'm just glad when Reddit dies everybody will embrace our Goat Idol. You all can worship it if you want, I wont be angry.
