Justin Kosslyn leads product management at Jigsaw, the Google (erm, Alphabet) subsidiary working on technological solutions to problems like online censorship and radicalization. Before that, he worked at Google News, Google+, and Google AdSense.
The experience must have radicalized him a bit, because in an essay published at Motherboard, he takes direct aim at not just one of Silicon Valley’s founding assumptions, but one of his parent company’s core business strategies.
“The philosophy of the Internet has assumed that friction is always part of the problem,” writes Kosslyn. But look around. The problem now isn’t too much friction; it’s too little. “It’s time,” he says, “to bring friction back.”
Less friction means more time spent, more ads seen, more sales made. Tech companies lose customers during login screens and security verification, and as a result of slow load times. The country’s top computer science talent is paid billions of dollars to further reduce the milliseconds of delay separating our desires and their fulfillment.
But these technological wonders do not seem to have made our lives or societies more wonderful. Depression, anxiety, loneliness, drug overdoses, and suicide are rising. Productivity growth has slowed. Income inequality has skyrocketed. Politics is more bitter and more tribal. Donald Trump is president of the United States. Something is wrong.

And they will never understand their contribution to the world they have created. Unless it is turned around on them, their own tactics used against them. Granted I am not even sure they would realize it even then.

Speed doesn't matter. Kikes already control all discourse, everywhere on the Internet. No one can fight back against them, or even talk about it, because all discussion is monitored and military/police forces sent after anyone attempting to resist.
This is, yet again, jews using their controlled opposition (Trump) to push a false narrative (that "speed" matters in the face of content and context).

You were literally already proven wrong, holy fucking shit. Shut up about things you don’t understand.

Alright let's think about this: Facebook, twitter, tinder, those are all incredibly kludgy code. They're not sleek, they can't function in a high-friction environment. Facebook will lock up, and half of twitter will fall apart. If they inserted into the TCP or UDP code a system which increased call-time then a lot of our modern systems would work. jewtube would have to load, media on kikeflix would only partially get through. People would be back to simple web pages and books.
Voat and reddit could still exist, though virtually all video content would grind to a screeching halt. We'd have to read and think rather than be spoon-fed information. This alone is a problem for the jew overlords but there's one thing that's even more important to consider. Increased friction means simpler systems will be superior to complex ones. Ye Olde websites would see a resurgence... like website designs left over from 2004.
This is the same reason I hope article 11 and article 13 pass in the EU. Not because it would make my life easier (it wouldn't) but because it'll force the kikes into playing their own goyish games. If they increased friction, image boards would become highly viable website forms. No handshakes, no TCP code, just an access point and a cookie... and lefties cannot control image boards. Their memes are stale, their arguments stupid. If (((they))) were to increase online friction, then the strength of 4chan at its peak would return. We're talking 2010 levels of power, but with 2018 politics.
God damn, we can only hope to be so lucky.

Why a longtime Google exec thinks we need to slow the internet down a bit - Vox
'Before that, he worked at Google News, Google+, and Google AdSense. '
'A new study paid people to limit their use of major social media platforms to 10 minutes a day, and compared them to a control group that didn’t make any changes. '
'Tech companies lose customers during login screens and security verification, and as a result of slow load times. '
'The problem now isn’t too much friction; it’s too little. “It’s time,” he says, “to bring friction back.”Our digital lives dispense with friction. '
'But as I look around today, I find myself yearning for a bit more of the friction of yesteryear. '
