If what happened to Germans had happened to any non-white ethnic group they would have remembered it as a Holocaust of sorts, but no one sees it that way. The bombing of Dresden being a notable example of a genocide being committed against the German people.

Morgenthau wanted to turn Germany into a parking lot, and after the Nazis had bulldozed Eastern Europe and killed millions upon millions of innocent people because of their racial type one can understand why some people would want Germany terrorized, but its generally bad to project the crimes and faults of a few back onto the whole population, although I am sure Germans tolerated it more than we think. I have a letter from a family relative from the area of Hannover that describes how they believed they had been betrayed and lied to by Hitler, but that Hitler had reacted the way he did because he the Germans had been betrayed and lied to numerous times after the period of WWI, whether it was by the West or Jews. I think the expulsion of German peoples from Eastern European countries was quite horrendous and was built on the dislike of Germans that was already present in these respective countries that had been present for sometime.

I think some of it is understandable in the course of war and the Nazis did commit horrible atrocities against Eastern Europeans and raped numerous amounts of Russian women, but certainly the barbarism and lack of ethical consideration on the part of the Russians makes the whole situation seem very nasty and uncouth.

Things like rape and starvation are the natural product of war and even though they are immoral its very difficult to stand against them, because both empower the opposition against the forces they are opposing.

"killed millions upon millions of innocent people because of their racial type"

This is garbage.

Look at the Slavs they killed(who were not collaborates with the Communists and did not believe in such ideology). They killed members of their own people(when the white race is taken into account), because they were of a non-Germanic racial type.

Sure, they did kill Communists(most of their victims at first were the disabled, political prisoners, and Russian Soviet POWs and Commissars), but let us be honest when we say that they killed innocent Slavs who were basically minding their own business and going about their daily labors. They killed them because they were Slavic or Polish.

The Jews committed a number of atrocities in Germany before WWII and had been trying to pervert and degenerate Germany society and build up its economy to such an extent where they could harbor all kinds of degeneracies. Why else do you think they killed a couple million Slavs and of course killing the Jews had to do with their racial type? Why else would they have killed them? Perhaps, the Jews because they were Communists generally or crony capitalist, but what about the Slavs?

The Slavs did not commit any noticeable crimes and some of the ones brought against them were possibly worked up(like the Bamberg massacre), and the Slavs would have been relatively open and receptive to Germans entrenching their power in Eastern Europe, had they won WWI.

The Nazis were insane and barbaric is the least we need to say, but I agree they were on the right trek until Kristallnacht.

"Mr. Morgenthau prefers Germans as peasants because as a class the German peasant “took the Nazi virus later and in a somewhat milder form” than the rest of the population. Actually, it was the other way around: the overwhelming majority of the industrial working class provided the most stubborn and consistent opposition to the Nazis, while most of the peasants did in fact vote for Hitler. This is demonstrated by the 1932-33 election results."

Morgenthau thought of Germans as an evil monolith. The Nazis never even got 50% of the vote. Amusing thing is, the US and UK firebombed those industrial working class communities as part of the plan to break the industrial base and local resistance.

The common view is that the Morgenthau Plan was never put into effect, but according to the book I'm reading, it was actually policy for 2 years, until July 11, 1947.

A very interesting aspect of this is that 9 months before the Morgenthau Plan was drawn up, the issue of deindustrializing Germany was raised by Stalin, and Harry Dexter White - a known Soviet espionage agent even at the time to the FBI - was a main architect behind the Morgenthau Plan. The FBI had warned FDR multiple times in writing about White, FDR laughed it off and after several of those warnings, appointed White to be executive director of the IMF, which is an international agency which was immune from FBI investigations.

According to Morgenthau's son, "Morgenthau himself had a long harbored an admiration for the Soviets. Like many liberals in the post-World War I era, he had a rather romantic view of the Soviets as liberators of the Russian people from czarist tyranny. Furthermore, many Russian Jews had supported the revolution and held top positions in the Lenin regime, although these Jews, along with Christians, had renounced their religion in favor of the new secular faith. My father had taken the lead in negotiating the resumption of US-USSR diplomatic relations."

"[We] are caught in what has now unfolded as a savage and fanatical plot to destroy the German people by visiting on them a punishment in kind for the atrocities of their leaders. Not only have the leaders of this plot permitted the whole world situation to get ... out of hand ... but the determination to destroy the German people and the German nation, no matter what the consequences for our own moral principles, to our leadership in world affairs, to our Christian faith, to our allies, or to the whole future peace of the world have become a world scandal..."

-- US Senator William Langer

"The American people should know once and for all that as a result of this government's official policy they are being made unwilling accomplices in the crime of mass starvation... Germany is the only nation where UNRRA is not permitted to feed its nationals. Germany is the only nation subjected to a deliberate starvation policy of 1,500 calories per day."

-- US Senator Kenneth Wherry

"Whereas... reports teaching the United States indicate that... the policies of the victor powers are subjecting millions to mass starvation, and whereas the United States has been a party to the commitments and agreements reached among the victor powers which have led to these conditions; and whereas the Congress has been bypassed and the American people have been ignored in the formulation and implementation of these policies, and whereas it is essential that the Congress of the United States should obtain the necessary information to enact legislation and to request the President to take executive action designed to eliminate the starvation conditions resulting from the policies for which this Government is directly responsible."

-- March, 1946 US Senate resolution

Because the Allies were supposed to praise the Nazis to the German populace and build them up after having waged a massive war to remove them from power? I find it interesting that Germans still had a basically positive view of Nazism after denazification ended. It only went on for a few years.

"Denazification" included imposing on them guilt trips, blaming them for everything, and marching them through places like Dachau where they saw hoax "human skin" lampshades.

Both World Wars had much to do with the UK wanting to maintain primacy on the open seas via it's "balance of powers" doctrine.

"We are probably foolish in that we find no reason to declare war on Germany before it builds too many vessels and takes away our trade." -- Lord Balfour as quoted in 1939 - The War That Had Many Fathers, p 38

The UK has always felt threatened by a Germany with a larger navy than it had. It's aggressive stance not only cost the UK of its empire, but it has left it with a smaller navy than Germany now has, anyway.

"de-nazification" was MK ULTRA alpha version. It was literally brainwashing. The first use of "group guilt", they forced Germans to watch fake movie's of all the fake crimes that happened. All the Germans were shocked, not one of them knew that those things happened, because they didint. Of course after they got results from Germany they brought group guilt to the Americas, it's basically how the whole "civil rights" movement started. Seriously look if you don't believe me, all the dates match. It's also why they banned the MLK files from being released for 50 years. They are still locked away until 1027 lol.
