Most companies in Southern California refused to bid it, claiming from the execs, "It is too political!" More like that is how to keep the profits high. Construction companies love low wage immigrant labor. They use stolen identification and SSN in order to work for these companies. Some get caught through accounting or payroll and refuse to work on prevailing wage jobs or any that require background or security clearance. I know of several that would not work on an airport job because of questionable status! Big corporations are the biggest threat to our republic as they are in bed with the government via lobbying.

These types of jobs are almost never done by locals anyways. There’s probably a construction management company that almost exclusively works on government projects and a few contractors that get most of their jobs from that particular company.

I suspect President Trump is hiring these people to use the $1 billion he gained for building and repairing border fences.

Keep in mind that official White House design for the wall consists of a 20ft metal fence and a secondary 30ft wall with an electronically monitored zone running in-between.

I suspect President Trump is using that cash to build the 20ft fences that will ultimately become part of the actual wall's design.

President Trump says he is building the wall and that is correct... but I'm eager to see the 30ft cement monstrosities being created!

Eh, I like President Trump's 2-barrier design because it achieves the same but is simpler.

lol, no he’s not.

lol, yes he is.

He said that locking up Hillary was bullshit after he was elected

Nope.

Why would you trust him with the wall?

Because he's less than half way through his first term and he's already met more than half of his campaign promises.

That's why.
