I don't know of this place. I guess this could be really good news or really bad news. Depends if these are corrupt cops or not, I guess. Does anyone know any more about this place?

Even if good cops, staffing that many FT officers for a town that small is a huge dent in their budget. Waste of tax payer money.

I've seen super troopers, it was the damn state cops taking over. Good for nothing statie's. Meow why would they do that?

It would be a good connector for trafficking possibly. Mostly farms, some warehousing and an odd tech firm making microcircuits, just south of a place with a nice big wally world distro ctr. We would need eyes on to get better info to determine relevance.

Why would a town of 1600 people need 7 full time police and 5 volunteer. Towns that size in my state, MN, may have two officers, other small towns rely on the Sheriffs department. I'd say the police did it to them selves by some how convincing the town they needed that many officers.

As someone across the border from you in SD, my thoughts exactly.
Definitely a 1FT, 1PT (maybe) or Sheriff only kinda town
