That makes little sense. You've believed lots of other things without substantive evidence.

In this case, I've seen the data but I didn't save it. It was some months ago, as I recall. Finding it now would be difficult.

Try to strip your emotions away and try to think objectively. It's not going to be easy, but the whole Q thing is just a bunch of logical fallacies and evidence that is inconclusive, at best. Look at the Q adage of 'Future proves past.' That is just about the dumbest thing ever, yet you folks parrot it like it is wise. It's not. That's not how critical thinking works.

Another one? 'They are ridiculing us, that means we are over target!' No, it just means you're being ridiculed. That is all it means.

If the powers that be are so powerful as to do the many things you accuse them of, would they actually let Q keep doing this? If you had any chance of being correct, they'd squish you like bugs!

Give it some thought. Take some time. I'm user TheBuddha, by the way.

If you're curious, I'm a mathematician.

That might not seem important, but it is. I have a doctorate in Applied Mathematics. Again, that's more salient than you might think.

Most people don't actually get a good mathematics education. (Your ability to understand mathematics is called 'numeracy' which is similar to 'literacy.')

What mathematics really is, once you get beyond arithmetic - and even in arithmetic, is a philosophy and a language. It's known as the philosophy of mathematics and it's called 'logicism' In other words, it's about logic.

For example:

1 + 1 = 2

That's more than arithmetic - that's a statement of logic. If 1 is equal to 1 and is added to itself then the logical conclusion is that the answer is 2.

The following is also mathematics:

Trump:United States::Macron:France

(That's also math, that's a statement of logic.)

So, I'm an "expert" (recognized as such for having forwarded the art of mathematics) in logic. In other words, I'm (not meaning to toot my own horn, but to explain) an expert with critical thinking. I'm able to be quite rational. I am, of course, still subject to being human, which means I'm capable of confirmation bias, selection bias, etc... I am subject to all the follies of man, because I am a human.

But, I've spent a lifetime honing my ability to be objective and to use critical thinking and to reason my way to conclusions.

You initially started this thread as an offer to help people. I'm reversing the rolls and offering to assist you - should you want to think about these things critically.

I'd highly recommend you take your time and ponder them over for a few days. Think about what you really know, with great confidence, and how much you've relied on conjecture. Any time you think "connect the dots, sheeple" (or similar) realize that's an error in logical information processing.

Feel free to PM me. If you want to keep your ego intact, you can PM me or just ping me in a thread. Just type @thebuddha and there's good odds that I'll respond, though a PM is more likely to get a response.

I might be able to help you conclude, with greater confidence, that Q is real. You never know. I suspect the opposite is true.

I will, seeing as I'm already typing a novella, explain something important.

Did you know it's okay to say, "I really don't know. I don't have enough information to be certain. I can't say that I'm confident in my belief of Q. I can't assert it as fact. I can say that I'm inclined to believe it, but I'm not certain. There are things I don't know and there's not enough information for me to reach a conclusion."

Then, if you do that, remember that it's not logical to believe something UNLESS you have enough information - unless you have enough substantive evidence.

It's okay to not have an opinion. As such, I don't believe Q is anything more than a hoax. I can't say that I have 100% confidence that he's not a hoax, but I can say I don't have enough evidence to believe he's more than a hoax.

Does that make sense to you?
