It's in the top menu: subscriptions > subscriptions

Edit: sorry didn't read you entire post before replying.

@PeaceSeeker, you have any insight on this?

Edit2: edits don't send pings. So much fail in one comment.

I always tell people to go to the same page you suggested:

https://voat.co/s/Front@srgmpdns/about/details

and suggest they put the disabled subverse in the subverse field and click "Toggle". It has been confirmed to work. I doubt this is any different from hitting the remove button as OP did, but it saves one from sifting through the list of subverses in search of whatever subverse from which they want to unsubscribe.

I suspect the subverse remaining in the topbar for OP might have been cache? OP says the method worked the second time he tried it, but that just might have been cache catching up? At any rate he has successfully unsubscribed from the subverse, it seems.

Thanks, that seems to work, but I can't really see any way to access that page anywhere.

Edit: yeah that is the same subverse edit page I tried earlier, but now it seems to work… Strange.

Same goes for removing yourself as a moderator of a disabled subverse, or deleting it if owned.
