“As Little Sisters of the Poor we vow to devote our lives specifically to the service of the elderly poor, but the unborn are no less worthy of reverence and protection than the frail seniors we serve every day.”

Why are we worried about the unborn when we cant even care for all those who are?

Keep in mind, this is not about unborn children, this is about a sperm and egg that have not even met yet!

You can reframe the argument all you like, at the end of the day what it boils down to is that people are abusing the term "religious freedom" at the government level in order to have the gov't reflect their own personal agenda. They do this by picking a topic they dont agree with, arguing for it to become law, when they dont get their way they claim they are being persecuted, and then then beat the drums of war and the media declares it a war on whatever it is. Then the religious individuals create religious institutions who then take money and try to lobby for religious beliefs to become of law in a country where religion and state should be separate.....but arent.

These religious nutjobs who claim to be "persecuted" are free to do worship however they feel, but yet they feel the need to tell other how to live, while also claiming it is wrong for us to tell them how to live. Go fucking figure. Fuck them.

It strikes me that any religious person can play this card. Seems also it's more them putting their priorities above those of their employees...
