Couldn't have put it better myself. They're adorable.

Puffers are adorable! mine used to eat right from my hand!

No worries! Only some, and only if you eat the wrong parts. Mine was MUCH smaller than this species, but they are totally safe to feed. They have a bit of a beak, so if you are a jerk they can give a nasty bite, in theory. I've never heard of that actually happening, but it is in the realm of possibilities.

I was going to say 'they're poisonous, not venomous' but according to Merriam Webster and various other sources those two terms are interchangeable when referring to animals. I learned something today!

I used to keep puffer fish but they ate anything smaller than them.

They're really cute. I used to have 5 fresh (brackish really) water puffers. They would get super excited when anyone would come up to the tank and were the only fish I've had that had a really unique personality. Only downside was consistently finding food that was hard enough to wear down on those ever growing teeth.

That makes me think about cuttlefish story's I've heard. Very smart for a animal without a spine, they also have unique personality's. When you put your hand in the aquarium but don't feed they get angry, and start spraying water at you.

Haha, that's awesome. I've seen pods, or groups, of them while diving before and they have really peculiar behavior. My favorite part was their ability to camouflage though. If we got too close, they'd start changing colors, and the closer we got, the more rapidly their colors changed. It was really cool to see up close. Glad they didn't get mad though.

Cute, But they have a temper.
The only fish they usually will live with are Scats and Monos, Both Brackish.
Source: My dad had a Tropical Fish store in the 1960's and I had 4 -55 gallon, 4-40 gallon tanks filled with brackish fish and Discus.
