While I agree with you that 30FPS on a game like Anodyne isn't going to matter at all to me, it could come off as biased if he selectively excluded games, and if some users bought a game that he excluded and it actually was important to them, they may lose faith in his consistency. Better to go all or nothing as much as possible, because really, you can't be too educated about your purchases.

That's a really good point. Not only will it stop accusations of bias, but it'll simplify things from his end if he just lists everything rather than pick and choose which ones to list. The consumers themselves can decide if 30 FPS matters to them in a game like VVVVVV.

Look. I know that 60 fps is nice. Very nice. And I can kinda understand his argument that this is 2015 and most folks have the hardware.

However.

I cannot help but feel that his harping on this is simply because of his chosen medium for gaming. 60 FPS is indeed almost mandatory for some games. Disappointment because fucking Coffin Dodgers runs at 30 is laughable though.

It has nothing to do with the chosen medium. 60 FPS is clearly superior regardless of your medium. The NES ran games at 60 FPS decades ago. A very large amount of PS1 games run at 60. Running at 60 FPS should be par for the course and anything less considered substandard. PC can handle 60 so as far as I'm concerned this is a list of defective products so the consumer can make a better informed purchase. I'd rather he list everything, even Coffin Dodgers, rather than pick and choose which games to list. Then people can decide for themselves if they care that a game like that is running at 30.
