In b4 flat earthers swarm the thread trying to marginalize the site.

I’m no flat earthier, but where are the stars? All of these sorts of pictures have no stars in them..

Because the light source close-by drowns out all the background light, just like how you can’t see stars at night in the bright downtown city, or in the daytime.

Because of camera shutter speeds. A slow shutter speed let’s in more light which can overexpose brightly lit objects. The satellite is well lit by the sun, so a faster shutter speed limits the light getting in. The stars are so dim in the background they don’t get picked up in the photo. You can do this experiment yourself. Just take a picture of any brightly lit object with the night sky in the background. No stars

not a flat earther but I have to say that something seemed off to me in the picture around the satellite dish at the top and the bottom. sorry mate, this is clearly photo-shopped. Got to give it to nasa though, they really gave this pic 97% effort.

Dish 1

  • circle shows a light (more like a smudge) that can not exist in this photo. if this light shows, then the stars would have to show
  • the dish has been edited

Dish 2

  • again has been edited. there is no justification for these deformities on the dish itself.

sorry OP, you are still a faggot

The circle is going around the receiver that sits in front of the dish on poles. That's the bit the dish focuses the captured rays onto.

The Hubble telescopes actual location is in the belly of an airplane, that flies close to the edge of space.
