Clever End Game that assumes POTUS makes good on the threat to cut funding and trade over the coordinated invasion.
If we cut off trade and funding to Mexico and South America then China will strengthen their already powerful stronghold there. Those 50,000 people being sent now are just fodder to stage a reaction.
Are the Democrats and Soros colluding with the Chinese to overthrow the USA? This could very easily be the visible stages of their plan to gain power south of the border.

I agree this has been put in motion to create bad press for the administration, however China needs the US market more than the US needs their products. Seems to me we could let China subsidize Mexico and south America, and spread themself thin, then impose hefty tariffs on their imports or cut off trade with them altogether, and at the same time, expose their actions/ involvement and demand they start accepting the migrants into China since they want to stick their noses in our region. Let the world see how they deal with the coordinated invasion, when the golden goose (the US) refuses to lay eggs for them any longer.
This kills 2 birds with one stone, forces China to either hurt themselves by taking the migrants, and losing the US market, ergo hurting/taxing their own economy, or back down and lose their position in the countries to our south. Either way, we keep the migrants out, and China ends up exposed and loses the anticipated advantage they hoped to gain, and turning the tables on the dems without damaging the administration's position on the illegal immigration into the u.s.
Am I just being a simpleton?

China isn't looking for a market south of the border. They want shipping routes, ports and minerals. It will also give China the ability to stage nonenforceable forces south of the US border to enforce economic agreements. All China needs to legitimize the use of forces is to have their actions sanctioned by the UN which isn't that difficult.
The southern border along the US is much less secure than the East/West coast because it's easier to gather and support force movement on land.

Once again, the left is going so far they're pushing people to vote red. A few thousand and the average dem thinks they need saving. 50 thousand and they can't help but feel fear, especially the more the word "invasion" is used (as it most definitely IS an invasion). When people are afraid for their property and families, they will turn to our president, knowing he has the intestinal fortitude to protect our country. I say let it grow. The bigger the caravan gets the more obvious its true intention.

The closer they get - the larger the Red Wave.
