I'd consider it, but I figure top results for a tshirt cannon case settlement are too low to be compelling.
The insurance part is very important, but few bands seem to heed that sort of advice until they hit a level where they must have insurance. And even then, the lines get very grey.

Yeah, we are still in the event insurance, per event, stage and only when the venue doesn't provide it. There's a couple of venues that have, so far, required we carry our own insurance and some that have riders that cover us. It's really quite a quagmire.
I also need to talk unions, at some point. They are sometimes important and another thing that's often overlooked. I might as well get this all typed out before I am too old to do it or am dead.

I’ve found that the price of insurance for two midsize events is comparable to the price of coverage for an entire year.
I don’t know much about the unions. I’m not that kinda musician!
