Feinstein owns 10% stock, it's called AVID:

AVID has had lots of great tools for video production for many years. I don’t mean to put you anons down but this is not how news rooms work. They’re full of shit and take direction from the top but it takes more than a teleprompter to prep a news segment

I work in TV News. While Avid Leader software is used in newsrooms, it's certainly not the only one being used. MSM also uses ENPS (From the Associated Press) and BTI also make election software. But, this is only used to display election results on TV and push data to the web. It would be difficult to manipulate the results at this point since there are other software services being used. For example, let's say CBS used Avid Leader and reported Candidate A had X number of votes, ABC used ENPS and also reported Candidate A's votes, and NBC used BTI Election software and also reported Candidate A's votes. The numbers would not be the same across the different stations if only the Avid Leader software was compromised. Not to mention online results and even newspapers (yeah, people still read those...).
Alot of these tools mentioned above get their elections results from the same place - the Associated Press Election Wire. If someone wanted to broadcast incorrect results, that's where you would do it since it would trickle down to most of MSM no matter what software they used to display it.
In a newsroom, a teleprompter is typically fed from a Newsroom automation system (ENPS, I-News, Dalet Galaxy, etc...). Writers/producers write the copy that appears in the prompter - the process is not automatic. IE. what comes over the wires isn't automatically inserted into the prompters.
Just my 2 cents.
