You're talking about certainty of nonbelief. Atheism doesn't guarantee that. You're trying to force the absolute certainty definition where it does not apply. No faith or certainty is required unless you believe.

You sure? Atheists seem to be pretty damn certain in their beliefs. If they weren't, they'd be agnostic.

Agnosticism is a branch of Atheism. Not all christians believe in original sin, but that doesn't make them non-christians.
If you really want to get specific, christians are also atheist in that they don't believe in any other gods.
