No one blinked, exactly

Nothing is ironed out fully!

The president can KILL an existing trade treaty with one pen, but to make a new trade treaty deal takes lots of politicians votes on both sides. Lots of meetings, lots of votes.

Since Trump promised to rip it all up (NAFTA) on Oct 1 2018, unwise Canada got rude last weekend and for 3 days stalled incommunicado, increasing odds of Trump getting his pen out 2 hours ago. What was Canada's PM Thinking!

Trump rubbed it in this week meeting with 5 or 6 huge political leaders one on one after and before UN speeches, but REFUSED to be phtographed nead Canadas insane PM, or allow a meeting with ANY canadian representatives!

Trump is chess player grand master ! It worked. It made canada worried about thier PM and terrified about Oct 1 2018.

TRUMP WOULD HAVE KILLED NAFTA 2 HOURS AGO.

But a handshake deal was made a few hours ago instead.

It is still FAR FAR FAR better for Canada than no deal. It has clause in it that limits Trump making minor weaponized tariffs that can be labelled as "acts of war" now by people in belgium (also a new thing in the new deal). Trump could of course rip up the new deal whatever it is called if he really really needed to weaponize a tariff.

But USA has no crazy tariffs , thats a hallmark of socialist countries. At least we have none created after 1968 with Canada. We did have 300% tariffs in 1980s against Japan for envy of their computer chip knowledge. It resulted in Jap chips all moving to Korea. I am only talking about Canada.

Canada gets 22% of current GDP from USA and USA gets a meager 1.6% current GDP from Canada.

Summary : canada needs usa 10 times more than usa needs canada !

Meanwhile for all imports of Chinese steel and Chinese aluminum into the USA, less than 2% in 2018 came from china, the most came rebranded via Canada middlemen and Mexican shell companies. Sneaky Canucks !

Trump's treaties are all really about china, not specifically Canada's abuses (milk 250%+, maple syrup 25%, etc etc) (Yes most maple syrup sold in big stores in Canada in 2018 came from USA (far lower prices from USA due to freak cold seasons recently)).

NAFTA already stole 65% of Canadas genetic IQ people over IQ 110 forever, who leave canda within 2 or 4 years after high school to go to USA and never return to canada again, taking their sperm with them. In some Ontario High Schools, over 55% of the graduates permanently left to work in USA. The less capable stay behind to breed. For the past few decades. Again and Again.

So canada got money, we got IQ.

But China needed a bitch slap, and Canada got in the way.

Canada tried to enforce metric food lables and metric volumes on USA products meant for USA such as the classic 32 ounce Ketchup bottle and the 64 ounce Ketchup. Puttin metric in huge numbers and first is NOT GOOD ENOUG, and Canada passed laws against usa filling USA ketchup bottles using canadian workers. America gave canada 3 years to change its mind, then America left canada and thousands of farmers screamed and cried, and immediately in one month 10,000 cnadians lots their jobs, rioted, and party burned down the empty cnadian ketchup bottle factories.

Eventually ketchup bottles never returned to socialist fascist canada, but ketchup PACKETS did, astonomical amounts of americn ketchup packets are now filled in canada by impoverished 3rd world white canadian cucks.

Anyway. No trade deal was made, but Trump will NOT call this NAFTA on principal and the old NAFTA will be ripped up at some point.

But currently and even across midterms perhaps, NAFTA will still be valid. Hopefully trump will threaten to rip it up the day after midterms if no real deal reached.

The OP is right though TRUE CUCKS CAN ONLY PUT UP A FIGHT SO LONG.
