I was watching C-span and the feed switched right after the vote. Can someone explain this to me please? I’m Canadian and I don’t understand exactly what happened.

What’s the 2 hour rule and did the Republicans seriously just all stand up and walk out after the vote???

Same, can't say I ever would have thought I would give a shit about the nomination of a US supreme court judge, but here we are... I don't care about this one as much as it being the next step in the plan, and that this will be the last step before Rosenstein gets dealt with and the real work can start.

Yes. They had 2 hours to take the vote. They got the 11-10 vote with Flake’s vote. 2 hours lapsed so Grassley immediately adjoined the meeting. Feinstein didn’t know what was happening. Glad Q said her time is up in November. By the way, they all had planes to catch to go home....
