Totally true, It's better to surround all your organs with thick layers of fat, (1) to keep them from moving and wandering around in your body and (2) to cushion them so they don't bump into anything and get damaged... #fatscience

That photo is totally fake. It's really a thumb with hair and a face shopped on.

When fats say "B-b-but they use waist trainers to get a tiny waist," it ignores the fact that 90% of the waist training job is being thin to begin. A trainer won't help you get a tiny waist if you're a hambeast. They use this as justification that chasing a small waist is pointless as if the only way it's possible is through potentially damaging corsets. It's like saying someone is only good at basketball because they are tall. I mean, sure, that's an advantage, but they also work really, really hard.

Not quite. With hambeasts it predominately shapes the fat instead of reducing the floating ribs to minimize the waist.

Yes, people use corsets and cinchers despite the risks. So?

People also smoke tobacco, drink alcohol, eat deep-fried food, and get weight loss surgery despite the risks.

I guess this lardbrain, needless to say, fails to notice that the dimensions many modern day waist trainers are reducing their waists to, are simply what was a normally sized (un-trained!) waist on a woman, in a less obese age, 50~ years ago...

You know what also misplaces and damages organs?

... too much fat.

The corset does cause for organs to be shifted but not to extreme that happens during pregnancy. There really is no risks with waist training with a properly fitted steel boned corset done at a slow pace.
