All of psychiatry promotes fictitious diseases, ADHD being one of the most profitable.
I read though, some anecdotes of doctors who they think ADHD is correlated to iron deficiency in children. In our modern diet of soft drinks fast food and junk food, children need more iron than adults because they are rapidly growing.
I think this theory has some merit. I always thought ADHD though was caused by lack of exercise. How many children sit all day long and play video games and watch TV but do not get any exercise at all?

I think merely a lack of exercise.

ADHD is definitely over-diagnosed and this is coming from someone who actually has it.
