I've never been more uncomfortable.
Now imagine how the guy next to you felt.

I thought about how we’re less likely to get angry at tall people for being tall on a plane
It's true, I am less likely to get mad about actual genetics like height.
Some feel fiercely entitled to the arbitrary amount of space the airline has decided we deserve
AKA the amount of space I paid for when I bought the ticket.
some think it’s unfair for space to be distributed according to need
It's a goddamn commercial flight, not a utopian commune

Lol she thinks that people shouldn't be charged by weight... she obviously hasn't done any next day shipping. Yeah let's accommodate packages of all sizes at the same price said no parcel shipping company ever.

She experiences more drama in one flight than I think I have in my entire life. I guess some people just like that shit, otherwise they'd cut a few calories and get to the gym occasionally.

How bout the commenter below. The guy who said he hates parents that let there kids kick the back of seats, because they have the ability to change/stop that behavior...But he can't do anything about his weight. Either a troll or a truly delusional fat sack of shit.

This fat fuck can choke on a bag of dicks. I hate flying because of people like this. Not only do I sigh, I bitch the entire time and let them know why I'm upset. If they don't like it they can buy an extra seat.

You're going to have to super-size that (both the bag and the dicks) if you're going to choke a fatty with it.

Can we get confirmation whether or not a plane would fail to takeoff if every passenger was overweight (300lb+)?

There was one that crashed once... here is the Air Crash Investigation episode:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6gJ1uUD5qU
Disturbingly this occurred because the 'average weight' of passengers they used from the 60's was outdated, so the plane was much heavier than thought. After this crash, they raised average weight per passenger to 260 pounds, and that's what most airlines still use today. So, to answer your question, if like most airlines, the hypothetical airline is using this number, it would be at risk of crashing.
edit: on a side note, planes do usually crash for multiple reasons, so the elevator cable being improperly adjusted also contributed to the crash. However, without the weight problem, the cable thing would have been fine. Makes flying with fatties even more distressing.

does that 260 pounds include carry on?

I wonder how many of tumblr's keyboard warriors would jump all over you for presenting your horrid facts.

Brings its own seatbelt extender and claims not to know if it fits in the seat.
