PIERS MORGAN: Stop lying Tess Holliday you’re morbidly obese | Daily Mail Online
'You’re only getting the cover of Cosmo and endless TV appearances because you’re massively, dangerously overweight yet feigning joy. '
'So I urge you to stop pretending your body is radiating some great ‘positive image’ to the world. '
'Tess, the most inspirational thing you could do right now is start to LOSE weight, not put even more on. '
'In the accompanying interview, you explained why you started your online #effyourbeautystandards campaign:‘I created it out of frustration. '
'Right now, I think you’re trapped in a hellish spiral of self-delusion in which your soaring fame and fortune is entirely dependent on you remaining morbidly obese. '

So, exactly the same story then via tweets. I don't see how the Daily Mail is much better journalism than Trendie.

I don't give a flying fuck about her health. I'm worried about the long term damage trash like this is doing to an entire generation. I had to have this conversation with someone I know on why I don't support shit like Torrid, and the message these activists are pushing is wrong.
Don't throw at me that they are worried about how advertising is a problem, showing unrealistic body sizes, and priming people to have unrealistic ideas of what people should look like. I get that the retouching, the photo-shopping, and the perfection you see is perhaps not the best thing to keep blasting people with. This is only truly affecting a tiny minority of people.
The bigger problem with advertising is how fast food and junk food is blasted at children from day one. They do everything in their power to make children early consumers, and keep them as they grow up. We shouldn't be blasting our children with advertising like what currently exists today. We shouldn't be allowing a generation to grow up on fast food, and junk food. Growing up never knowing how to cook, or what a vegetable or fruit even tastes like. Growing up behind screens never knowing what it's like being outside.
These people who cry about this or that, are the same people who heavily Photoshop and retouch their own photos, Tess the Mess being one of them. They will smooth out their skin, erase folds, clean up pock marked skin, shop out cellulite, shop off as many pounds as possible. They now promote an impossible ideal fat-body that doesn't exist. Along with a fantasy about being morbidly obese and having no health issues. They are trying to hush hush the inevitable.
Who is going to suffer long term because of a world gone bad? Entire generations of children are going to grow up sick, and watch sick parents die horrible deaths, and then die the same horrible deaths themselves. They can never do enough to redeem themselves for the hell they are creating for others down the road, or for people now.
There is no longer representation for women of my size in this country thanks to them. So much for promoting different body sizes. Since they now make it hard for many people to recognize what health is, healthy women get the short end of the stick. I'm victim of that myself. When I decided to fix my shit and lose weight (and eat better) instead of people being happy for me, they questioned my sanity, my mental health, and whether or not I had cancer, bulimia, or self confidence issues.
When ever I get close to preferred weight I get major anxiety because of all the bullshit I dealt with from because of it. I'll be eating 1500-2000 calories of nutritious foods (not junk food, and not fast food) at maintenance depending upon my activity levels. I'll be the one who isn't suffering that so called afternoon slump. I am the one with the most energy, getting the most done. I become the who is being scrutinized, and fat acceptance pieces of filth like Mess think that's just dandy. They want us to give up, give in, and become parasites to society.
Sorry, this just really touches a raw nerve right now.
