i guess so. @loki88 explained it to me . i never heard the switch being referred to as a hydird but it make sense.

Well, Nintendo doesn't like to call it that, so ever since the system was officially revealed, using the term has gotten a bit out of fashion. Up to that point though:

that may explain why i've never heard the term hybrid console. plus i don't really play much vidya anymore
