Also worth noting here that Ballast Point makes a habanero vodka, Fugu Habanero, that makes a lovely mule.

First of all thank you for this. Second, Is the vodka as good as their Habenero Sculpin?! I didn't even know they made spirits too. I thought it was just a brewery for some reason... That's what I get for not doing proper research I guess.

The MR in your username threw me off. Prolly shouldn't have bc those are my initials! Lol Anyway I feel ya on abundance of peppers to tomatoes as well. The birds keep pecking away at mine as soon as they turn pink. =\ I might have to steal your jam idea though. I made regular strawberry jam last year and one with lemon zest and they both turned out great!
I bet a strawberry jalapeño infused tequila would go well with ginger beer too... Hmmm.
A creative way to use those peppers
I helped create this drink last year. Definitely had fun working with the peppers :)

This sounds fantastic, I love a good Moscow Mule or variation. I recently had a Margarita with Jalapenos in it for the first time - and the addition really suprised me! It maintains a certain level of freshness, while bringing some real fire to your palate.

It's amazing what that spiciness adds to the drink isn't it? I should try jalapeños in some other favorites, a spicy margarita sounds delicious!

I was blown away by the enhancement of flavors. The spicy was spicy, but the sweet was sweeter, and the crisp was crisper. I can't begin to recommend this highly enough.
