I think Jackie would have had at least as successful of a career, no worries. Based on what I've read of Bruce's life, he probably would have eventually gotten bored with film-making and would have left it behind to further his own studies and training, thereby still leaving a gap for Jackie (and other kung-fu actors) to fill.

Bruce always called himself a philosopher first so I agree, if he didn't get bored with film making he would probably shift the focus away from what made him famous. At the point of his death the Bruce Lee clones were emerging everywhere to capitalize on his popularity, I don't think he would have continued without changing something. Source: read his Jeet Kun Do book, he speaks briefly about the subject.

They are completely different. So, I'm going with yes, but the vacuum created by his death surely moved things forward for him.
