They are VEXED! VEXED to the right, VEXED to the left! 'it's just chaos all the time...' LOL
"When you look at the congress though, it's like 24 hours since John McCain was put to death and there's this circus of a hearing going on..."
John Kasich is a crappy actor btw, this segment sounds like it's meant for people slow to learn and hard of hearing. It's for VEXED people!

A buffoon's error? A clarion call? Or woodpecker signaling an alarm? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6X_ko0Ma45M

Agreed. That sounded like a slip to me. Kasich is full of shit here. Could he be “ playing the game?” - he acted like a douche during the elections, so - not a very high opinion. Will be watching him closely.

The only thing I can think of to make sense of what Kasich could of meant was if he intended to say, '24 hours since McCain was put to rest'. Even that sounds weird however, as the expression is 'laid to rest' not 'put to rest'. The difference in connotation of saying 'put to rest' instead of 'laid to rest' is subtle, in that context it sounds more like 'buried that fker', like some contentious subject that is finally off the table.
I'm assuming the show was live TV.
But the entire performance is scripted, so whatever Kasich was supposed to say (at least in reference to the McCain statement) was probably written the day before (as evidenced by referring to '24 hours'). The 'tell' of the entire thing is that Cuomo doesn't say a word after Kasich says 'put to death'.
Kasich himself is either a clueless buffoon that doesn't know what words come out of him mouth, or he screwed up the script, or he said it on purpose. I tend to believe the first two (he was too busy reading a script to notice he screwed up, or if he did notice, he wasn't going to correct it and lose his place reading it).

Not confirmed entirely, YET. But it looks like we were right!!
This totally explains the bitterness at McStain's funeral.

When exactly was that clip aired? I don't have time to dig into the backstory ATM.

President Trump took away mcCains baby blood supply. They consider that a death penalty.

Republican John Kasich calls Trump the “commander of the chaos.” “It's like there's a tornado every day… when you have all that chaos how do you solve the biggest problems?… What I'm really concerned about, is that things aren't getting done.” https://cnn.it/2MMFV1r

He clearly said '24 HOURS SINCE JOHN MCCAIN WAS PUT TO DEATH.'
Well, that is not a Freudian slip, that is a gaffe, or as Michael Kinsley famously said:
" A gaffe is when a politician tells the truth—some obvious truth he isn’t supposed to say.”
( Now, how is that for COINCIDENCES? )
[–] HighEnergyLife 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
Thank you. I see the word "gaffe" constantly misused by (((idiots))) on tv.

Glorious, isn't it?
