There are currently computer simulations and alternative methods

I don't really think those are adequate and I doubt you do either.

We need more advanced biotechnology. Bio engineered lab rats without brains.

Or better yet human bodies without brains. Those would be the ultimate test subjects. That would solve the problem of organ donors too. I bet someone would make sub-sentient sex cyborgs as well......

You are a lazy, ignorant wart that is far too comfortable with the misery of others. Check yourself, Sir.

I'd love to agree with you but I think organisms are extremely complex systems and that a handful of lab tests are no substitute for observing the real complicated system.

So I've brought up bioengineering animals without brains so we wouldn't be stuck with these ethical issues. I have another idea though.

Do you recall that story of the girl who could feel no pain? Here it is if you don't: https://youtu.be/n6iOUW523BE

What if we introduced a gene that produces the same effect in lab animals? There's still a few problems with a lab animal that feels no pain. You'd still have to kill it. It could also injure itself pretty easily so it might need to wear a muzzle or something. Still I think it's better than the current state of affairs and I think it could be done with contemporary technology.

Waste of your time. These ghouls have never felt compassion for anything in their pathetic lives.
