The ancient staff associated by the Greeks with medicine was the rod of Asclepius, which had a single serpent twined around it, not the rod of Hermes, which has two serpents twined around it. In modern times these two staffs are often confused, and the rod of Hermes is used in place of the rod of Asclepius, but this is an error. The man in this video mistakenly believes the Rod of Hermes is the medical staff.
