Thanks, now I feel bad about picking up every quarter or dime I see. i mean hell, in the moment I'm just thinking: "Fuck yeah, now I can afford bus fare instead of having to walk in the rain!" But apparently I should just be leaving the money to be swept into the drains by streetcleaners.

Hell I do the same thing. It's the only free money that's actually free.

Same, ive had a lifelong interest in coins in particular. I got a silver 1960s dime in my change last year buying an ice tea, so the change was slightly more valuable than the money I handed over, that was a highlight. I found a few old silver dollars cleaning an attic once & the owner let me keep one of them as a finders fee. Coins have a history, pennies from the 1950s look like money, todays pennies look like shiny turds.

In the 50s a penny also had some buying power.

violates the spirit of the Torah... The gleanings are for the poor and widows... The first pass is for those who work. Essentially money on the ground is a gleaning... grain left in the field after the main harvesting pass occurs... That's how I look at it. But that's Tanakh what the Talmud says is what this God hater goes by I assume.

Sounds pretty gay.

let me guess... you've rejected God in your heart and as it takes one to know one... well the shoe fits.
