It's not about being smarter or seeing things. I think the message that resonated with people was that it was a movie about going your own way, accepting the painful losses, fighting to win for worthwhile things not materialistic consumerism from corporate culture. Wrapped up in a dark theme of destroying stuff and a weird "dark" chick Marla Singer. Perfect way to sum up the attitude of the 90s and plant a reactionary seed for the future.

its true people grow, they absorb the artistic truth of the real world. The people consuming entertainment get past 30 and the live a life and see the real world and get red pilled but 'They Live' by Roddy Pipper is a Fucking massive red pill movie.watch it Right Now you Fucking Fag Nigger Cunts!! Also maybe some foreign French, Japanese and other overseas movies hint at these ideas at times, also the V For Vendetta is supposed to have inspired 4chan anonymous hacker group, sometimes directors or actors like Kurt Russel and Clint Eastwood or whatever person can inspire in directions of film and DVD commentary, sometimes shows like Rome / Deadwood were very historical fuck you raw man shows what the fuck lets do it, Total Recall Matrix are probably more 'mind fuck' than red pill. New moveis kinda suck most are remake ideas, also 70s era became unique as it was very anti-Globalism and the real life anti Vietnam protests against globalism and shit wars were earlier.... but the hollywood industry took longer to wake up and did make some ok films, also the 70s had a lot of cop, gangster FBI red pill blue pill red pill moments copes and spooks and blue pill, a modern Oscar movie the Departed is pretty Red Pill remake of a Chinese Hong Kong crime thriller 'Infernal Affairs' watch both maybe? also an old movie the Network 1976 could be as good as it gets in regards mainstream film without going into reality and documentaries. https://www.hooktube.com/watch?v=WINDtlPXmmE in regards whats worth in modern blockbuster film i don't like them but I enjoyed Nolan's Dark Knight films and the Marvel Captain America Winter Soldier was interesting
