How about we do whatever we want? This will turn into censorship by downvoats soon enough. Voat is supposed to be a platform for unrestricted information. With this attitude festering in our user base it makes us look like petty children. I've already received downvoats for showing a picture of my puppy hosted on imgur, what good does that do?

Downvoting is not censorship. You express yourself, and other people react to it. You're not banned, you're not shadowbanned, your comment isn't deleted: all that happens is you get downvotes. That's people expressing themselves.
If you want to continue using Imgur, fine, that's your choice.

You're right, it's not censorship. However, this form of downvoating on principle does not contribute anything in my opinion.

Any pornography will result in a ban
This makes it a non-option for me. That's what half of /v/cutegirlshotwomen and /v/cuteboyshotmen is about. I like how minimalist it looks, but I won't be using it.

I think it's ok to give traffic to Reddit. Yes they messed up, yes I'm abandoning them pretty much so I can read content thats not been OK'd by the SJW or .gov community but I think it's too far to say lets not give them traffic to see their content...

I don't see why you guys are so obsessed with not giving Reddit traffic... Surely we should all be trying to grow and improve Voat rather than trying to kill Reddit.

Exactly. An alternative doesn't have to be anti.
No idea what that is.
It's a Chrome extension to zoom images just by hovering over them with the cursor. No need to click images to view them full size. Seems like Imagus is a better choice, though, as gtcom pointed out.

Does it really matter, so long as adblock is turned on and you're not buying gold?

I would love to, unfortunately I'm not sure if there is a mobile app for iOS yet. So Reddit still gets my mobile traffic when I read the news.
