LOOK People in Russia dont like faggots OK? WHY CAN'T YOU ACCEPT THAT?
Try doing this in the Tver Getto, and you won't live to tell the tale. Russian people are strongly religious and value thier traditonal values of hetrosexual marriage VERY SERIOUSLY!
It IS NOT YOUR PLACE TO TRY AND INFLUENCE THOSE PEOPLE IN ANYWAY>

So, it's okay to oppress people because of strong religious and "traditional" values? I take it, you support the Islamic State? After all, they just have very strong religious values!

Gay people in Russia are not repressed,(theres even a gay community in Moscow) And why should you be interested, if they don't like the country enough, they will go to America, the same way as they did in the 90's. Seriously, if they arent leaving it cant be that bad can it?
The Islamic State is a terrorist organisation, so i dont think thats a suitable comparison is it?
How about your country is known to be fundamentally Christian, so you should go to church!
Besides, GAy people arent even oppressed in RUssia. IF YOU READ THE FUCKING THING, you would see that no one is allowed to show pornograpghy to minors, which is the same in AMerica, and gay people cannot try to co-erce young children into homosexually.
If you fucking read the fucking law you would have known that instead of relying on your fucking TV for false information and propaganda!
fucking dumb fuck!

Religion in Russia was abandoned for many years during the communist era, so to suggest Russians are "strongly" religious is a little ironic. Also it suggests that maybe the resurgence of religion is the reason for homophobia. Although there maybe some truth in religious opposition to people who are gay, homophobia seems to be strongly politically motivated and endorsed by political leaders. The people confronting the couple in the video did not come across particularly as seeking to give a message about their faith. They just appeared abusive and confrontational.
Good on those who did the video, it portrays well how difficult it is to be free to be who you want to be, especially when other people in society want to stop you, and you have no support from officials to turn to for help.
