Where possible, avoid all medication of any kind. All of them have nasty side-effects, even if these are not immediately apparent to those taking the drugs. They are unnatural and mess with your normal body chemistry. Sometimes you can't avoid taking something, but be aware that it may be doing as much harm as good, or even more harm. I'm happy to say that I take no medications of any kind. No everyone is as fortunate as I am, to be so healthy, but I avoid all medications, even cold remedies, headache pills, and vitamins. Will this extend my life? Maybe not, but my odds are better of living healthier, longer.
