Max's life would have been so much better if a doctor just told her the truth--if she LOST WEIGHT, then she might be happy with her body! It seems irresponsible to treat someone who is unhappy in his/her body if that person is obese! Perhaps if they had a nice fit body they wouldn't be so unhappy. But nobody will tell a fat person that.
They never look like the gender they transition to. Just a bunch of dumpy fat girls that are now a bunch of dumpy fat girls with beards and backwards hats. Every single one of them!

This is "Max". Born female, transitioned to male, then de-transitioned. (See story here: https://www.1843magazine.com/features/when-girls-wont-be-girls )

This is why I can't get behind transgender stuff. It's rarely the root cause of the unhappiness

Me neither. It seems like more often than not - those who transition regret it.

I would think that if you want to transition you would at least want to experience something like being that gender, not an amorphous blob.

The only exception is people who really are born with ambiguous genitals, or XXY chromosomes, etc.
