If a player writhes on the ground like that they should be bundled into an ambulance and taken to the hospital for a full exam (including prostate and a colonoscopy).

If they can't find anything wrong they're docked 1/12th of their yearly salary.

...

And given another colonoscopy.

I honestly think that the lack of popularity of soccer in the US is because we have stricter standards for what constitutes honorable and dishonorable play. During the 2014 World Cup I heard tons of Americans complain even about the flopping on the US team, calling it dishonorable, disgusting, cheating, etc. And it's out of control from shithole countries. It's such a dishonorable tactic, I think it turns more honorable societies off from the game, and less honorable ones see it as just "part of the game. Everyone does it, so why should they have an advantage?" Yet it's literally cheating, they're playing the refs, not their competitors.

Not to mention that you are an adult male athlete that should be able to take some hits, bumps, bruises, falls without having to stop play and cry. I think a lot of americans, myself included, can't consider what we are watching a sport when this happens so often. Grow some fucking balls and toughen up and maybe it would get more popular.

MotoGP riders crash at fucking 100 MPH and immediately get back up and get on their bikes, despite any injuries. Soccer players are cheaters.

Also pay attention to their body language after something goes wrong. Most of the teams throw their arms up in the air and scream at people, like "HOW COULD YOU FUCKING DO THIS?" even when it's their own fault. In other sports, and MotoGP in particular, when someone fucks up they blame themselves.

I also noticed that the Japanese players blame themselves when things go wrong, compared to Brazilians, Mexicans, and Spaniards, who scream at other people when it's their own fuckup.

Yeah, but look where it got Japan this world cup. Playing honorably (i.e. not stalling for time, no parking the bus) means they're out. Granted it was one of the best matches this world cup, but still they're out.

Agreed, though Japan weren't exactly paragons of virtue. They grabbed jerseys, tackled way too aggressively, and body-checked opponents (often twice their size) all the time. They were just way, way more honorable when they fucked up, punching the ground and clearly blaming themselves. Of course, other teams did all that and more, like the Belgians (if you can call them that--the composition of their team isn't what comes to mind when you picture Belgians).

It's the same level as charging theatrics in basketball.

It is unsportmanship behaviour (terminology, eufag) that should be punished by the judges. This world cup has had one of the best matches I have ever seen.

Russia vs Croatia this saturday, dont miss.

Japan vs. Belgium was the best so far or perhaps Russia vs. Spain

Marriage has been under constant brutal attack since eward barneys did the stunt with the smoking vamps on 5th ave.

In parallel to the anti marriage propaganda since then ('secret lovers' lalalala) it got instutionalizen by schemes where single get incentived by subsidies out of tax payer's pocket.

Now we have tax payer funded daycare in the EU. This is perversion, in sync with economics for unemployment and 'minimum' wages.

...the whole point is: Large portions of the people never learned the beauty of a real marriage.

If you are young: There s something great to discover!
