Collegiate level fencing has little to no fat people at all. However, fencing does tend to bulk up the thigh muscles, especially if you’re a deep lunger.

That being said, there were tons of fats in high school fencing. None of them ever had the speed or coordination needed to do well; plus, their opponent had a much larger target to aim at due to their size.

Hiking. All you need is a hike with a hill and they’re out. It’s fun watching the fats melt away as you go up.

Fatties are much MORE likely to be into swimming compared to other physical activities because it's one of the best ways for them to exercise without risking injury to themselves.

Let's see...

  1. Cycling: I used to go to a gym where the spin instructor was a morbidly obese woman. Only went to one class and then learned her schedule and avoided it at all costs.

  2. Martial Arts: Took a class with a lot of fat kids.

  3. Swimming: It's so good for your joints! And they offend your sight in their horrible swimsuits.

  4. Ball Sports: Have you seen some football and baseball players? They.Are.Fat.

  5. Rock Climbing: I have yet to see a fat rock climber.

  6. Body Building: I would agree, but... I've seen some "bodybuilders" on their off season... and they balloon up. Big gut, big thighs, turn doughy, and the stretch marks are everywhere. Does the spray-on tan help mask the stretch marks? I don't know. Looks pretty awful.

  7. Running: Joined a running group one time. All of them fat. Left running group.

  8. Zumba: 99% of the women in Zumba are fat. Same goes for cardio kickboxing.

Hiking long trails still has not been infested with fats. They do maybe a mile or two then give up, leaving the rest of the trail void of any of them.

I do both martial arts (BJJ) and rock climbing / bouldering. Gotta say that there are a surprising amount of small fats doing BBJ, but only in the lower ranks, probably because for beginners their size/weight probably helps them pin others down.

While I'm at the climbing gym however, almost no fats. Some small fats doing the easier top-rope routes from time to time, but they aren't there more than once a week (at least not at the same time as me). And then there's the occasional small fat that wants to try out bouldering but only comes that one time.

lol swimming is the absolute worst because they float so it's easier. I'd say any martial art besides karate. Judo and tae kwon do are both good and the ones you listed are good if you like more fighting/practical aspects (I prefer it as an art and form of discipline and meditation). However you need to pick the place carefully, most of them are just daycare for the evening and will just hand you belts and teach you nothing. It'll take some time but it's worth it if you're serious

Yeah the self defense appeal is what seems to make a good combo. Do you do martial arts? Feel free to PM me.
