You absolutely do NOT need HDMI bandwidth to stream video. WTF do you think Youtube and Netflix do? It's all just video streams, modern GPUs use hardware H264 encoders to do the heavy lifting of compression. If you can watch 720P YT/NF then you should be able to stream a game as long as your latency is reasonable.

WoW man, I can't wait for ALL of my SINGLE PLAYER games to have lagg or be denied the ability to actually play them because of internet problems.
As for consoles, unless they release something unique and revolutionary like Nintendo it's just going to be another gimped PC pretending to be a console and maybe clutching some exclusive shitty games to try and justify the "console's" existence.
