Don't know about around the house, but in the house (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Raid-Fumigator-Fumigating-Fogger-3-Pack/11045996) nothing escapes this.

For ants, cut wedges of lemon and place them everywhere the Ants are. Keep doing it for a day or 2 after they have gone. Recently had an ant infestation and this worked.

a few wolf spiders would do the trick. Of course then you'll be infested with those fast furry barstards.

I wanna say an accidental singularity event but dem fuckin cockroaches man...

Seriously tho with ant trails i ended up usually going down the line with fly spray from where theyre from tonwhere theyre going and clean up as soon as theyre dead. Once the trails gone anything else that pokes out of the hole either dies quickly or cant pick up whatever they use to follow each other.

Folks have already given great advice for in-home bug control, but I would note that the exterior is also worth looking at.

Remove insect habitats from around the home - probably all the landscaping close to the foundation - and consider digging down a few inches to put a barrier like landscaping fabric or plastic. Bugs like to dig around in the dirt, so by doing this you will probably be removing a huge number of their entrances to the home.
